DEFINITION
Stabilized Tehrahydrofuran (THF) based solvent-containing adhesive.
APPLICATION AREAS
Tangit is used for joining the joints of pressure pipes made of hard PVC such as drinking water, waste water pipes, industrial facility pipes, gas and agricultural irrigation pipes.
PRODUCT ADVANTAGES
The surfaces to be bonded are wiped with a suitable solvent.
Thus, the surface to be bonded is completely cleaned and free of oil and dust.
Tangit should be mixed well before use.
It is applied homogeneously first to the mug and then to the pipe in the direction of the axis of the pipe.
Without turning the pipe and the spigot against each other, the pipe is pushed to the end of the spigot and kept in this state for a few seconds.
The parts to be glued must be glued together within 4 minutes after the adhesive is applied.
Pipes should not be moved within the first five minutes after bonding. At temperatures lower than 10°C, this time should be at least 15 minutes.
Glued pipes should be placed underground after 10-12 hours.
The use of the pipes should begin at the earliest 24 hours after the last gluing process.
Pressure resistance test should be performed based on 1.5 times the operating pressure.
