Storage criteria

• Continuation period of the contract and membership relationship
• Commerce, tax, accounting, consumer and electronic commerce legislation
• Suit, follow-up, complaint and statute of limitations periods
• Fraud and information security requirements
• Authorized institution requests and legal preservation liability
• Whether the purpose for which the data is processed continues or not

Approach according to data categories

Account and contract records throughout the relationship and legal periods; order and invoice records during the periods in financial and consumer legislation; security logs for a reasonable period of time for risk and proof; Marketing preferences can be stored for the period necessary to prove approval or rejection.

Deletion

Deletion means making the data inaccessible and unusable for the relevant users. Data deleted from active systems can be kept in backup for a limited time until the backup cycle is completed.

Destruction

Destruction means making the data inaccessible and unrecoverable by anyone. Physical documents can be destroyed by secure destruction, digital data by secure deletion or cryptographic destruction.

Anonymization

Data can be anonymized and stored for statistical purposes so that it cannot be associated with a specific or identifiable person, even if it is matched with other data.

Periodic destruction

Data that meet the deletion or destruction conditions are destroyed through periodic checks in accordance with technical and operational processes. If there is a legal dispute or official storage request, the relevant data may be stored temporarily.

Third parties

Data return, deletion and security obligations are regulated in the contracts made with service providers.Correction or deletion is notified to the extent applicable to third parties to whom data has been transferred.

Application

Relevant persons can submit deletion or destruction requests according to the KVKK Application Form. If there is a legal obligation to keep the request, it may be partially rejected with justification.
