Askaynak AS R-143 Rutile Welding Electrode 2.50x350

It has a thick cover with rutile character. Compared to AS R-116, the mechanical properties of the weld metal obtained are higher due to the higher amount of basic component in its coating. Weld metal has high resistance to cracking. The slag is removed easily and high quality, smooth welding seams are obtained. The electrode is easy to ignite and re-ignite before welding.

Note: Re-drying temperature is 70-80°C / 1 hour.

It is a general purpose electrode and is used especially for welding low and medium carbon structural steels between St33 - St52.3. Machinery, bridge constructions and boiler production, body manufacturing, steel furniture, iron joinery works, welding of thin sheets, welding of chassis, auto body sheets and small-scale repair applications are other areas of use.
