IZOCARDI CRACK MEMBRANE is a membrane that maintains its elasticity, has high tear resistance, and does not form joints or joints. With its self-leveling feature, it penetrates deeply into cracks and forms a crack bridge. Thanks to its elasticity and high tear strength, it is resistant to surface movements and vibrations caused by temperature changes. It is not affected by sea water. It has abrasion and impact resistance. İZOCARDİ CRACK MEMBRANE adheres perfectly to prepared concrete and porous surfaces and sheet metal. It maintains its flexibility for a long time between -30°C and +90°C. It creates a flexible bridge in cracks up to 5 mm wide. It has ultraviolet resistance. It turns slightly yellow over time. It does not lose its properties. The shelf life is 1 year without opening the packaging lid. Touch drying is 3 hours, full hardening is 5 days. It can be walked on after curing. IZOCARDI CRACK MEMBRANE has high resistance to acid, base and salty environments, does not produce bacteria, does not cause odor, does not rot, is resistant to plant roots, is long-lasting and environmentally friendly. It has the feature of breathing.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Before applying, the surface must be clean, dry and free from oil, paint and similar anti-adhesive dirt. Particular attention should be paid to the concrete not being sandblasted. This test is done by scratching the concrete floor with a nail. If the floor is sandblasted, it is reinforced and applied later.

APPLICATION PRINCIPLES

IZOCARDI CRACK MEMBRANE It is applied to the prepared surface with a toothed spatula, brush or airless gun. The material should be mixed thoroughly before use. The 2nd and 3rd coats are applied one day apart. For cracks wider than 5 mm, applying mesh on the first layer before it dries is important for long-lasting crack repair. Ambient and floor temperatures should be min +5°C, max +30°C. It is recommended to widen hairline cracks before application. If the amount of cracks is high, the application should be made to the entire surface.

CONSUMPTION

Depends on the number of layers to be applied to the floor.Crack surface sealing can be done with 1 kg, 5 cm wide and 15 m long.

The applied surface must be dry. It should be learned that there will be no rain for at least 1 hour after membrane application. Application should be done with gloves. In case of contact with skin and eyes, they should be washed with plenty of water. Definitely thinner etc. Do not use thinners. It should not be applied in closed areas due to the long-lasting solvent odor. Close the packaging cap tightly for prolonged use.

CLEANING

After use, the tools are cleaned with cellulosic thinner.
