Usage Capacity

The first truly ergonomic sling, the Polyester Sling is used worldwide for heavy lifts and wire rope slings. Polyester Sling weighs approximately 10% more than steel slings. Vertical capacity is standard product and larger capacity heavy lifting slings are available. Workload capacity is based on connection points of equal or greater strength.

Straight Lifting on polyester slings

The lifting point for slings must be perpendicular to the center of gravity.

Lifting with two slings

For cloth rope slings, the lifting point must be perpendicular to the center gravity point, equally on both sides. In this type of lifting, both cloth slings must be manufactured from the same raw material.

Lifting with Three or 4 Slings

Lifting points for polyester slings must be distributed around the center gravity point on the same plane and must be perpendicular on it.

Definitely pay attention to the lifting angle A. The greater this angle, the lower the carrying capacity of the cloth sling. Angle over 60° is not allowed

In lifting slings with three and four slings, only the angle in the two-sling system should be calculated, depending on the largest angle in case of unbalanced loading.
